This short was made as a University assignment where we were given pages from a screenplay and asked to adapt it into our own short film. We were not allowed to know what film the script was originally from so that we could create our own story from the dialogue organically. I think ours came out pretty good! The scene comes from the film 'Ordinary People' (1980) which was originally written by Alvin Sargent.
