Skyler Carreon

Skyler Carreon is a co-founder of Truman Pictures. He’s a Writer, Director, Editor, Actor and Host for the studio. Skyler has always wanted to be a filmmaker and storyteller, making short films with his friends however he could: claymation, live action, and even puppets! Eventually finding his way on stage. He’s been in and behind the scenes at local non-profit theater Kids-N-Co. since 2007 and directed four shows for them as well as done set, scenic, lighting and sound design for dozens of shows. Skyler co-founded Truman Pictures with best friend Brandon Lee A. Camarena in 2011, naming the studio after their first short film together, ‘Douglas Truman: A Career in Review’

Besides his best friend Brandon, Skyler often works with founder and head of Gyro Studios, Josh Pulido. Together they have collaborated on multiple short films including ‘Reply All’ and ‘Crisis at the Corral’.

In December of 2020, Skyler graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso with a Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Media Production.
